North Berwick

We left the west coast behind yesterday and are having a few days on the east coast. It seemed to take forever to get ready to go......I don't like leaving Evie behind, but a cat mad family member is staying to look after her and I know she'll be fine.

As much as I love where we live, the scenery here is just so different, the sky is always so big.....I think it certainly looked that way today. It was lovely to wake up this morning and look out on the sea and a clear blue sky.

I wouldn't say it was warm, but we didn't feel the cold walking along the beach as the tide came in. Lots of people out walking their dogs....all shapes, sizes and ages....dogs and humans! My favourites were these two Scottie's with matching red leather collars and leads.

Wouldn't it be great to have steps to the beach at the bottom of your garden?

Maybe it's fond memories of childhood, but I just love exploring along the beach, watching the waves break and dissolve on the sand....happy thoughts can't help but rush to the fore.
