The colours changed minute by minute. The sky darkened from a lovely rosy pink to a deep dark red.

March Sunset
I keep pinching myself....we have gone more than 24 hours without rain......for the first time in what feels like months! Today was lovely and bright - I can't say it was warm, but who cares it was dry! The birds were singing, a woodpecker was hammering on a dead oak and I was able to hang out 2 loads of washing and take them in dry!

It's going to be a cold night.....but it's worth it for more days like today!

The washing comment made me smile - My husband never understands how excited I am when I can start hanging the laundry out again. We don't run a tumble dryer so I love it when the sun shines!
